What should you do to prepare for your pet in the event that you or a family member contracts COVID-19?

  • In the case that you or a family member contracts COVID-19, identify another person in your household or someone who would be willing to care for your pet while you recover. It is important to restrict your contact between pets if you have tested positive for COVID-19. Be sure to prepare an emergency kit for your pet with at least 2 weeks worth of supplies.

 Have you lost or found a pet in the communities in which OC Animal Care services? You can call us and report your missing pet or if you have found a stray animal in your neighborhood.

  



Need help providing food for your pet?

  • Checkout this PET FOOD SERVICES LIST of local pet food banks in Orange County. Please call in advance to confirm they have pet food services available.

  • OC Animal Care is also hosting their monthly Family Fur-st Drive-Thru Pet Food Pantry for families in need, held the second Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
