October 20, 2020  Orange County Human Relations Commission Inspires Students To Combat Unintended COVID-19 SymptomsSanta Ana, Calif. (October 20, 2020) – As COVID-related discrimination and xenophobia reach an all-time high, Orange County Human Relations Commission (OCHRC) has responded by launching an exciting anti-hate initiative. The “To Know Better” multimedia campaign contest is designed to promote cultural acceptance through the voices of Orange County middle and high schoolers.
October 15, 2020  County of Orange Celebrates 100,000th Customer at County Service CenterToday the County Service Center (CSC) proudly served its 100,000th customer since opening its doors on September 3, 2019. To commemorate this milestone, Chairwoman Michelle Steel and Vice Chairman Andrew Do presented the 100,000th customer with a basket containing promotional items from the CSC departments.
September 8, 2020  County of Orange Moves to Red Tier, Re-Opens More of Orange CountyToday, the County of Orange moved from the Purple Tier to the Red Tier as a part of the Governor Newsom's Blue Print for a Safer Economy. This allows certain business sectors to re-open immediately and businesses to expand their operations with certain restrictions. Additionally, County Health Officer Dr. Clayton Chau has issued related new Orders and Strong Recommendations, which also include seasonal flu vaccination for certain county residents and visitors.
