Even though the Coroner's business office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. excluding holidays, you may reach Coroner Investigations at any time of the day or night by calling (714) 647-7400. If the Deputy Coroner assigned to your loved one’s case is not on duty, another Deputy Coroner or the Supervising Deputy Coroner will either assist you or see that you receive a follow-up call from the assigned investigator.
