TAO utilizes data to assure and improve the quality of services provided to our members. We also utilize data to monitor our performance as it relates to our contract with the County. The data reviewed includes productivity rates to make certain that our members are being seen at the rate at which they need to be seen. We review jail, hospital and homeless days to ensure our services are effective. Work and education days are reviewed to see if our services are helpful toward having our members become integrated back into society. A variety of other data including type of service, place of service and date of last service are also utilized to determine if the right service is being delivered at the right place in a timely fashion.
TAO's use of data does not end there. We look at data to make program improvements. For example, we review data to see what is working and not working for members. This is an effort to find to the best way to help people to find employment. Surveys are used to query members as to the types of services they need. Housing questionnaires are utilized to improve quality of housing. By analyzing the data, we are able to determine possible improvements for the program that will help us better serve our members. By continuously reviewing data and refining our interventions, we at TAO seek to make sure that we are providing the best and most appropriate services to our members.
