June 15th Proclaimed World Elder Abuse Awareness Day in Orange County
Earlier this week, the Orange County Board of Supervisors declared June 15, 2019 as World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) to help raise awareness about the millions of older adults who experience elder abuse, neglect and financial exploitation. Members of the Board presented a resolution to leaders of the County of Orange Social Services Agency (SSA), Health Care Agency (HCA), District Attorney's Office, OC Community Resources' Office on Aging and other Orange County community partners to recognize their commitment to helping seniors live longer, safer and healthier lives.

Board of Supervisors Approves Developer for Major Mixed-Use Development Project in Laguna Niguel
On Tuesday the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the Option and Master Lease Agreements for the Laguna Niguel Town Center with Laguna Niguel Town Center Partners, LLC, (LNTCP) for a mixed-use development on County owned 24-acres property formerly known as the South County Justice Center.

Orange County Clerk-Recorder Reaches Milestone by Reaching 9 Million Electronically Submitted Documents
This past Tuesday, the Orange County Clerk-Recorder Department reached a milestone in electronic recording history by reaching 9 million electronically submitted and recorded documents.
